I was fortunate to attend a presentation by Swann College just as I was going to employ an apprentice. Swann College was quick to respond to our request for training and provided excellent information. They liaised with the various organisation to commence our apprentice in his apprenticeship. Their training has been excellent. We have been so impressed, we recently referred Swann College to another business.

Thanks To Swann College !! Approved Repairer Team now EV Specialists , RAA members who own Electric Vehicles are set to have more options when it comes to having them serviced and repaired, after some of our Approved Repairer team completed an Electric Vehicle training course. Approved Repairer Service Manager Mark Andrews and Technical Liaison Officer Andrew Fox recently completed Battery Electric and Hybrid Electric vehicle servicing and diagnostic training, making us the first automotive group in South Australia to do so, They're pictured below receiving their certificates from Swann Automotive Training General Manager, Adrian Huckel.

Patrol Salvatore Pirrotta is also in the process of finishing his studies with Swann. The course took the guys six months to complete and entailed five days of classes, plus six days' hands-on training. With this knowledge the Approved Repairer team now plan to develop a Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist Category for our Approved Repairer network, which would be the first of its kind in Australia, Ultimately, it will give our members more options to have their vehicles repaired outside the dealer network.
